Athena is a rescue English Bulldog. She will be four years old this October.
As you know English Bulldogs have many issues with their health. Athena has suffered urinary infections since she was a baby. In fact, as she was very, very sick her owner decided to put her sleep. But destiny was on her side. Knowing her perilous situation, we adopted her.
You cannot imagine Athena's happiness (and ours) when she arrived at our home. She ran all over the house really excited and happy. We were very surprised at her reaction considering her condition!
Since the day we adopted her we had to change her diapers at least eight times per day. In the end, all the work that we did with her was worth it because now she is happy, healthier and even very well educated after she was trained.
Lately, like so many people, we must stay home which makes her totally happy as you can see in the photo below.
